Eligibility Criteria for APDCL Recruitment 2024
APDCL, AEGCL & APGCL will soon release notification of job vacancies in both grade 3 and grade 4 posts, These three organizations had conducted recruitment exams combined in 2018 but due to administrative reasons, the recruitment process was cancelled. So, the posts are still vacant. in September 2022 CM sir announced that there are 5000 total vacancies in APDCL, AEGCL & APGCL. Soon they are going to recruit 5000 fresh and experienced candidates for APDCL recruitment 2023. Below we have mentioned all the eligibility criteria for various posts under APDCL, AEGCL & APGCL.
Age Limit & Age Relaxation for APDCL Recruitment
According to The Assam Power Department Recruitment Commission (APDCL), the age limit of the job applicants is categorized in the following sections i.e. The Job Applicants age should not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years as of 1st January 2023.

Age Limit
There is an exemption in ST/SC or OBC i.e. 5 years for ST/SC and 3 years for OBC. But this exemption also is limited that is the backwards castes job applications must be 18 years or more in order to apply for the said post. Also, there is an exception for PWD job application which is 10 years, and for Ex-Servicemen 2 years simultaneously.
