Anundoram Borooah Award 2022
The Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme was established in memory of the late Anundoram Borooah, who was the first Assamese and fourth Indian to enter the elite ICS and the nation’s first deputy commissioner. The government of Assam established this award in 2005 with the sole purpose of fostering healthy competition among the student population and assisting them in expanding their perception through current knowledge and information with the aid of IT education.

Details of ARBAS Laptop Award Scheme
The Anundoram Borooah Laptop Award Scheme provided 1 laptop, 2 years of 3G or 4G Internet access, a certificate, books on all subjects organised according to NCERT course requirements, digital content (2D/3D animation, audio/video) for each stream, and an online coaching and score improvement system (OLCSIS) for science students to all eligible students through the year 2019.
However, for the year 2020, instead of a laptop computer, Rs 20,000/- was given to the pupils; this is because the COVID-19 epidemic has severely damaged the supply chain, making it difficult for the government to obtain computers.
The government has agreed to transfer Rs. 16,000/- (Rupees Sixteen Thousand Only) to each eligible student’s bank account this year.
Eligibility Criteria of ARBAS Scheme
Educational Qualification & Percentage: Students who passed the HSLC, Higher Madrassa, and FM Examinations administered by SEBA and the State Madrassa Education Board of Assam with Star Marks or at least 75% are eligible to apply for this programme.
Year of passing: Students must have passed his/her qualifying examination with the mentioned percentage in 2022.
Examination Board: Students who passed their qualifying examination from SEBA and State Madrassa Education Board, Assam are only eligible to submit application for this scheme.
How to Apply for ARBAS Scheme?
Students who meet the ARBAS eligibility requirements for 2022 may fill out an online application by going to the official website. Students who qualify may take the actions outlined below.

Now, the official web portal will be displayed.
Next, enter your Roll Code, Roll No, Date of Birth and click on Login button.
Now, fill all the details including bank account details and Save the page.
Next upload your necessary documents and submit your application. On submitting the application, an acknowledgment receipt will be generated. Keep a copy of the same
