Eligibility Criteria – of BSF Air Wing Recruitment 2024
AGE LIMIT
- Head Constable / Constable : 20 to 25 Years
- Other Post: 20 to 30 Years
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as follows:-
(i) By 3 Years for OBC Candidates.
(ii) By 5 Years for ST Candidates.
(iii) By 5 Years for SC Candidates.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
(i) Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (ASI):
- (a) Three years Diploma or (b) Group “X” Diploma issued by the Indian Air Force;
- Preferably two years relevant aviation experience
(ii) Assistant Radio Mechanic (ASI):
- (a) Three years Diploma or (b) Group “X” Diploma issued by the Indian Air Force;
- Preferably two years relevant aviation experience
(iii) Constable (Storeman):
- Class 10th Pass
- 2 Years Work Experience
(iv) Sub-Inspector (Works):
- 3 years Diploma Pass. in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized.
(v) Head Constable (Plumber):
- 10th pass or its equivalent with ITI Certificate in the trade of Plumber OR 3 years’ experience in the respective trade from reputed firm.
(vi) Head Constable (Carpenter):
- 10th pass or its equivalent with ITI Certificate in the trade of Carpenter OR 3 years’ experience in the respective trade from reputed firm.
(vii) Constable General Operator:
- (a) 10th or equivalent With ITI Certificate in the trade (i.e. Electrician or Wireman or Diesel Motor Mechanic)
- (b) 3 years’ experience in the respective trade from.
(viii) Constable General Mechanic:
- (a) 10th or equivalent with ITI Certificate in Diesel/ Motor Mechanic from a recognized institute.
- (b) 3 experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized.
(ix) Constable (Lineman):
- (a) 10th or equivalent from recognized Board with ITI Certificate from a recognized institute in the trade of Electrical Wireman or Lineman and.
- (b) 3 experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized.
